Ya escribí en el post anterior cuál era mi idea sobre la renuncia de Fidel. Pues bien, especialmente importante es la visión que de esta renuncia tienen los candidatos a ser Presidentes de EEUU sobre la transición en Cuba. Mientras el conservador McCain ha deseado a Castro que "se reúna pronto con Marx", Hillary Clinton ha señalado que nunca se reuniría con Raúl Castro, mientras sigan las violaciones de Derechos Humanos en la isla.
Pero el más preocupante ha sido Obama: ha declarado que se reuniría con él, sin precondiciones. Después de su primo el comunista-islamista de Kenia y del escándalo de la bandera cubana comunista con la foto del Ché en sus oficinas de adhesión, es lo que le hace falta para hacerse una idea del "cambio" que quiere para EEUU. Lo bueno es que no quiso ponerse la mano en el pecho mientras escuchaba el himno americano ni tampoco quiso llevar un pin con la bandera americana durante la campaña y ya sabeis lo mirados que son para estas cosas los americanos.
Por supuesto, los cubano-americanos de Babalu Blog están que trinan contra él, por estas y otras cuestiones: resulta que el abogado de Castro en el caso Elian (el niño cubano que Fidel reclamó a su familia de EEUU...) es uno de los que aconsejan a Obama en política exterior. Además se ha pronunciado en contra del embargo americano frente a la isla en varias ocasiones. Por cierto, que a los de Babalu todos les parecen muy moderados e incluso progres... y prefieren que gane Obama antes que votar a McCain que se ha pronunciado a favor del embargo y muy claramente en contra de Castro... porque votó a favor de la Shamnesty, la ley que relajaba los controles inmigratorios. Pues nada, que gane Obama y EEUU admita a la familia Castro... :twisted:

Por cierto, el vídeo de la alegría es una porquería imitando a este. Pero este, por mucho que haya encandilado, inclusive a conservadores españoles, a mí me parece un tostón...

Well apart from Spain, the other country where there are more Cubans in exile is USA, so the vision that candidates for the US 2008 elections is very important, about the US policy towards Cuba and about the Fidel's resignation. The Republican candidate McCain has wished Castro a soon meeting with Marx", while Hillary Clinton has stated that she would never meet with Raúl Castro, while the violations of Human Rights continue in the island.
But the most worrying candidate is Obama: he has stated that he would meet Raúl Castro, without any preconditions (that is, without considering the extraordinary bad Communist Cuba has regarding Human Rights). After it was discovered his cousin Odinga is Kenyan communist-islamist and nearly all media outlets reported about the scandal of the Cuban Communist flag with the Chè's photo in the offices for supporters to join his campaign, this is just another idea to consider what kind of "change" he wants for USA (video above, that is boring from the first sentence...). Another curious thing is that he did not want to put his right hand on the chest while the US national anthem was being played nor to wear a pin with the American flag.
Of course, Cuban-American bloggers from Babalu Blog aren't very happy with him, considering these and other matters: one of Obama's advisers on foreign policy has turned out to be the Castro's lawyer in the Elian's case. He has also stated his opposition to US embargo on Cuba on several occasions. Anyway, Babalus consider that all candidates are very moderate or even leftists... but they prefer an Obama win than voting McCain who has stated his support for the embargo and very clearly against Castro... because McCain voted the Shamnesty. Undeniable logic.
