El Obispo ha hablado para The Times:
Speaking to The Times, Dr Nazir-Ali, who is on the conservative evangelical wing of the Church and is Britain’s only Asian bishop, said: “The irony is that I had similar threats when I was a bishop in Pakistan, but I never thought I would have them here. My point in saying what I did was that Britain had lost its Christian vision, which would have provided the resources to offer hospitality to others.”La ironía es que cuando era obispo en Paquistán, tuve amenazas similares, pero nunca pensé que pude tenerlas aquí. Mi posición diciendo lo que dije es que Gran Bretaña ha perdido su visión cristiana, lo que hubiera permitido proveer hospitalidad a otros.
Una cuestión interesante: con ciertos elementos, ¿la hospitalidad británica no ha sido demasiada? Pongamos por ejemplo, con Abu Hamza y familia.

Nazir-Ali denunció la existencia de no-go zones musulmanas en el Reino Unido, produciendo un verdadero terremoto. Lo preocupante no es que le amenacen los terroristas: lo preocupante es la cúpula anglicana le haya censurado, porque simplemente está diciendo la verdad.
Pero ya se sabe: es más cómodo matar al mensajero.
