Un profesor argelino exige al Rey que pida perdón a los musulmanes - Sociedad - Libertad Digital

Jammal Ben Ammar Al-Ahmar reclama desde su página web el regreso de los descendientes de los expulsados de España en el siglo XV al tiempo que exige la condena de los culpables. Autoproclamado descendiente de la dinastía de Bania Al Ahmar, exige en forma de carta al Rey Don Juan Carlos, la recuperación de dicho territorio.

Ben Ammar insta a una "completa investigación legal e histórica de los crímenes de guerra que tuvieron lugar en Andalucía por las cruzadas papales, francesas, inglesas y europeas, cuya víctima fue nuestro miserable pobre pueblo, tras la caída de la regla islámica en Andalucía". (Einnn??? ¿¿Qué cruzadas hubo en Andalucía?? Si se refiere a la revuelta de las Alpujarras, puede ser profesor de lo que quiera pero digámoslo finamente, está equivocado: a España no vino ninguna cruzada de nadie, salvo a la batalla de las Navas de Tolosa, 1212, a la que los cruzados centroeuropeos llegaron tarde y encima se dedicaron a quemar y a tomar botín por las tierras cristianas porque hacía mucho calor... así que en todo caso seríamos los cristianos los que tendríamos que exigirles rectificación). 

La carta afirma que "la injusticia infligida sobre el pueblo musulmán de Andalucía que todavía sufre la diáspora en el exilio desde el año 897, según el calendario musulmán, y 1492 después de Cristo. Dicho esto, el profesor insta al monarca español a pedir perdón "en nombre de sus antepasados" y que asuma la "responsabilidad de las consecuencias" que esto acarree. (Resulta que los "moros de Graná" no fueron expulsados de ningún sitio en 1492, salvo Boabdil y su familia, por razones obvias. Los moros no fueron expulsados hasta principios del siglo XVII y sólo porque los espías de Felipe III encontraron unas cartas en las que el Sultán turco decía que les iba a enviar dinero y armas para liberar España y que confiaba en que todos los musulmanes se unieran. Sí, puede ser que las expulsiones fueran injustas, pero a día de hoy se están produciendo desplazamientos de población -Sudán, Irak, Afganistán... incluso India- y ni siquiera hay un crisis unánime de lo que ocurre en ellos).

(...) considera necesario "identificar a los criminales, condenarlos retrospectivamente, mientras se identifica y compensa a las víctimas por sus calamidades y se restauran sus títulos". Una especie de investigación de Memoria Histórica a la manera de Garzón, según ABC, que tal y como dice en su carta llevaría a "emitir un decreto que permita a los inmigrantes regresar a sus hogares andaluces, garantizándoles la concesión del pleno de derecho de ciudadanía", y restaurar todas sus propiedades. (Y para ¿cuándo un decreto que permita volver a los descendientes de los cristianos a los lugares de lso que fueron obligatoriamente -y lo están siendo en la actualidad- expulsados por la invasión musulmana, incluido el territorio argelino? ¿Qué tal le sentaría al benammaralhamar este que le echaran de sus tierras para que las ocupara el descendiente del cristiano a las que las hordas musulmanas expulsaron en el siglo VII? A que no, que esos son cristianos y por tanto no tienen derechos, pero los descendientes legítimos o inventados de los musulmanes, esos tienen derecho a volver y a que se les den sus tierras en cualquier momento).

También considera necesario un "buen trato a la comunidad musulmana que vive en España y que siente que su orgullo ha sido desdeñado, tras la inspección de tribunales", algo que se debe aplicar, dice, a los sin papeles, cuyos antepasados fueron expulsados (claro, hombre, claro, hay que invitarles a nuestra mesa y que coman encima nuestro y nosotros de esclavos. Pues no haber venido a donde nadie les había llamado, que ellos PRIMERO invadieron España, quitándoles sus propiedades a sus legítimos dueños, leñe).

También reivindica la independencia de Ceuta y Melilla, y  que se pida perdón a los musulmanes. Esto incluye que un tercio de los beneficios por las visitas a mezquitas deben ser destinados a representantes legales de Al-Andalus. (y no cree en los Reyes Magos ni en el Hada de los Dientes, ni en el Ratoncito Pérez ni en nada parecido. Y ¿qué tal pagar a los cristianos turcos por el uso de la Mezquita que era antes Santa Sofía de Constantinopla? Pero serán b-o-l-u-d-o-s...).

La culpa de esto la tienen todos aquellos que consideran que hay que pedir perdón por ser blancos, por ser europeos, porque hace 300 años se matara a noséquién pero luego no exigen a ninguno de los dictadorzuelos de pacotilla que hay en el Tercer Mundo que pida nadie perdón por lo que ocurre AHORA. ¿Por qué no habla este alhammarbenammarlianteammar de la Iglesia de la Virgen María de El Cairo (1, 2)? Porque ahí es donde se ve por lo que él (y el resto de los musulmanes...) tendría que pedir perdón por cosas que pasan AHORA, no por cosas que se hicieron el año de la pera y que no eran ni más ni menos que lo que se hacía (y a veces hasta menos) normalmente en ese momento... Ya ni comento los atentados, los degüellos, las lapidaciones, etc, etc... y en general, los abusos a los Derechos Humanos que tiene como consecuencia la Sharia.


Ahora bien, lo mejor es lo que ha dicho el Gobierno español: dice que ve "con preocupación" que este hombre da clases. Pues lo que tienen que hacer es contradecir con la Historia, no con las idas de olla de este hombre, lo que él dice. Porque preocupándose y sin hacer nada, no se consigue nada...

Pues nad, Berlusconi, prepárate: deberás devolvernos el oro y la plata que los romanos robaron de Hispania...

Pero cuánta gilipollez hay que leer, Señor...

Sarkozy sigue con su tour para vender energía nuclear

Ya la ha vendido a China o Libia, entre otros. Ahora la va a vender a otro país muy democrático: Emiratos Árabes Unidos.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has begun a Gulf tour, during which he is due to sign a nuclear co-operation deal with the United Arab Emirates.

He has arrived in Saudi Arabia and will go on to Qatar and the UAE over the next three days. All three are seeking to develop civilian nuclear programmes.

Mr Sarkozy has said the Arab world should have the same rights to such programmes as other states.

France has already signed nuclear agreements with Algeria and Libya.

El Presidente francés, Nicolás Sarkozy ha iniciado un tour por el Golfo Pérsico, durante el que va a firmar un acuerdo de cooperación nuclear con los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Ha llegado a Arabia Saudí e irá después a Qatar y a los Emiratos Árabes Unidos en los siguientes tres días. Todos están intentando desarrollar programas nucleares civiles.
Sarkozy ha dicho que el mundo árabe debe tener los mismos derechos a estos programas que otros estados. Francia ha firmado ya acuerdos nucleares con Argelia y Libia.

Esto no es algo nuevo, ni mucho menos. Pero el programa nuclear iraní (país que profesa en su gran mayoría el Islam chií, confesión minoritaria dentro del Islam), apoyado por Putin, ha hecho que la mayoría de los países suníes, quieran también tener un programa nuclear. Incluso han ofrecido la posibilidad de construir un reactor nuclear en Suiza, país que no ha hecho ninguna declaración al respecto pero cuyo Primer Ministro sí se entrevistó en secreto con el rey saudí Abdalá después de la visita de éste al Reino Unido.

La cuestión es que, como hasta ellos mismo creen, el programa nuclear iraní no tiene nada de pacífico, así que es mucho mejor asegurarse que ellos también tienen el mismo programa pacífico.

Sarkozy has already sold nuclear reactors to China, Algeria and Lybia. Morocco is on a list queue and now Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE are also on that list. This is a direct consequence of the supposedly pacific nuclear program of Iran, of whose pacific character has precisely UAE expressed its profound doubts, even retaining cargos headed for Iran. They have also expressed their concern about the environmental threat the Iranian nuclear program could pose for them... to lately ask one for themselves... ;)

Los atentados de Argelia: ¿para qué sirven las amnistías de Jihadistas?

Y de terroristas en general:

Two convicted terrorists who had been freed in an amnesty carried out the suicide bombings at U.N. and government buildings that killed 37 people, an Algerian security official has said.

Rescuers in the shaken city Thursday were still extracting the living and the dead from the crumpled remains of U.N. offices in Algiers that were bombed by al-Qaeda's self-styled North African affiliate.

Victims caught in Tuesday's twin truck bombings, which happened 10 minutes apart, included U.N. staff from around the world, police officers and law students.

One of the bombers was a 64-year-old man in the advanced stages of cancer, while the other was a 32-year-old from a poor suburb that has produced many Islamic militants, the security official said Thursday on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

The government has offered amnesties to try to end a 15-year Islamic insurgency, resulting in thousands of militants turning themselves in, but sparking fierce criticism from the families of victims.

However I believe that this particular attack is a response to the recent visit by French President Nicholas Sarkozy to Algeria. It is directed against the number of agreements signed by the Government of Abdelaziz Bouteflika with the Paris presidential delegation. The Jihadist incitement against the Algerian authorities, including mostly via the al jazeera shows, usually indicates the trends to come. Algiers was accused by the Salafi forces as "betraying the Muslim world and associating with French kuffar." The strikes came in line with this incitement.

Argelia fue acusada por las fuerzas salafistas de "traicionar al mundo musulmán y de asociarse con el infiel francés". Hmm...

Al Qaeda (la central) a través de Zawahiri, criticó también a Argelia por su participación en Annapolis, acusándole de traicionar a los palestinos.

Por cierto, que esto es un cambio en la estrategia de Al-Qaeda en el Magreb que antes usaba menores y ahora empieza a usar viejos.

No es por nada pero este terrorista parece la Momia de Tutankamon. Por lo menos, no es un menor: este ya sabía lo que hacía.

Sin duda la mejor pregunta es la de CSM: Can Al-Qaeda spread across North Africa? Y digo la mejor, porque precisamente a esa expansión responde el nuevo nombre del Grupo Salafista para la Predicación y el Combate (GSPC), reconvertido ahora en Al Qaeda para el Magreb islámico. Claro, que una cosa son los objetivos y otra la realidad:

Al final, la amnistía sirve para que desestabilizar al mismo Gobierno que les dio la amnistía, como consecuencia de su política internacional... Eso sí, El País titula "Argelia no está en riesgo de guerra civil pese a los atentados". En riesgo de guerra civil no, pero de desestabilización del Gobierno sí. Expansion.com también insiste en el vínculo entre la reconciliación con Francia y el atentado de Argelia.

Sarkozy, Argelia y la Unión Euro-Mediterránea

Mr. Sarkozy arrived Monday in an effort to cool decades of tense relations and ink new business contracts with France's ex-colony, which gained independence in 1962, as well as pitch his idea for a Mediterranean Union, a regional community that would unite the 21 countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

The union, an initiative that Sarkozy proposed soon after becoming president, would focus on security, immigration, and environmental and cultural linkages among all countries, from Morocco to Malta to Israel, and help coordinate trade between this region and Europe. But his message in the region is reaching many skeptical ears, both those wary of a former colonial master as well as those concerned such a formal compact would simply open the door to European imports and guarantee hydrocarbon-hungry Europe a reliable supply of energy.

On Tuesday, Sarkozy did his part to quell much of the rancor between Algeria and France when he called France's colonial system "profoundly unjust." Addressing the colonial era and the brutal eight-year war of independence, he went partway toward satisfying the longtime demand of Algiers, and of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, for Paris to apologize for its actions as the colonial ruler.

But, he said, "I came to Algeria to build ... an exceptional partnership between our people, and that happens by way of contracts.... The past exists. The future is to be built."

[...] But prominent Algerian journalist Ihsan el Kadi says average Algerians don't give the still ill-defined union proposal much thought. But, Mr. Kadi says, it has the full attention of businessmen in the region, hungry for direct investment and willing to offer incentives to spur more trade across the Mediterranean, or the White Sea, as it's called in Arabic.

Como queda claro, lo que interesa a Sarko son las relaciones comerciales y ha metido la pata hasta el fondo al decir que "el sistema colonial francés fue profundamente injusto". No porque no lo fuera (que lo fue), si no porque lo ha hecho sólo para obligar a Argelia a no ser tan reticente ante la Unión Euro-Mediterránea. Como bien dice el artículo, Argelia, un país rico de gente pobre, va a vender muy cara su participación en esta empresa por la necesidad europea de gas, mientras que otros países más pobres como Túnez y (chan cha channnnnnnnnnnnnnn) Marruecos, están encantados con la posibilidad:

Algeria will be one of the toughest negotiators in a union like what Sarkozy envisions because of its abundant natural gas that is needed in Europe. Neighbors like Tunisia and Morocco share a French colonial history but as protectorates. Being much poorer countries, they appear to welcome the idea of greater ties to the wealthy neighbors to the north.

"Algeria doesn't want to be dependent. The 132 years of colonialism has really ingrained this in people here," says Mr. Parks. That desire, he says, makes Algeria leery of agreements like the one proposed by Sarkozy.

Countries like Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt, which are resource-starved and need trade ties to survive, are likely to be responsive to diplomatic overtures such as the union idea, analysts say.

Además de que esta Unión EuroMediterránea (que, por cierto, ha venido a sustituir entre los líderes internacionales a la Alianza de las Civilizaciones de la mirada positiva) sería un verdadero desastre para Europa: no sólo por los miles o millones de inmigrantes que pasarían a Europa complicando aún más el panorama, si no porque sobre todo Argelia es uno de los países con más problemas de terrorismo islámico de todo el Magreb (recordemos que el antiguo Grupo Islámico para la Predicación y el Combate ha pasado a ser Al-Qaeda en el Norte de África). Y a la vez indigna a sus votantes naturales (y a los repatriados de Argelia).

NOTAS:

Resulta curioso que Francia pida perdón (aunque sea a medias) por la colonización y que Turquía siga sin pedir perdón por el genocidio armenio (que eso sí lo fue...).

So Sarko has gone to visit Algeria and has asked (not entirely) for forgiveness about French colonial rule in the area. The reason for that statement is mainly that he wants to build an Euro-Mediterranean Union. Of all the North African countries the most significantly against this project is Algeria precisely as they do not want to be dependent again and they are rich because of the gas they export to Europe.

But other countries, such as Morocco (hmm, I don't like at all the prospect), Tunisia, Egypt or Lybia, are apparently very happy with the prospect.

But Sarkozy has not played a good trick here: not only he has condemned French colonial rule, disgusting his voters and the French-Algerian expatriates in France, but he has done it for mere commercial reasons and to build a Union which would be -in case it is done- highly damaging for European countries, under a lot of pressure yet caused by immigration, specially from Islamic North African countries. The fact that this immigration is mainly uncontrolled and illegal, makes every terrorist, drug/women/weapons' trafficker and smuggling easier, making crime figures even bigger and increasing the sensation of unsecurity, in societies already shaken by those same factors.

Regarding Spain, this would be disastrous: not only March 11th bombings were mainly done (and probably planned) by Moroccan subjects, but Moroccan king, the disgusting Mohammed VIth, reclaims already Melilla, Ceuta and the Canary Islands. The main immigrant community in Spain is the Moroccan one, and Morocco is the way to enter into Spain both of illegal immigrants conveyed by mobs (with the more than probable support of the sultan) and drugs, mainly hasisch and heroin.

But you know, the positive look, as Zapatero calls himself these days in publicity, has not said one thing about this. How could he, when he has been one of the most important supporters of Mohammed VI, without considering his intentions towards those parts of Spanish lands?

El fundador de la banda terrorista argelina Grupo Salafista para la Predicación y el Combate (GSPC), Hasan Habtab, ha sido detenido por la policía, según informa el diario árabe ‘Al Hayat’.El diario, el más prestigioso del mundo árabe, cita a “fuentes informadas” en su nota fechada en Londres, que aseguraron que Hatab, uno de los terroristas más buscados de Argelia, fue arrestado en el barrio de Husein de Argel el pasado día 22, cuando se encontraba celebrando la ruptura del ayuno en Ramadán.

La fuente indicó que Hatab se encontraba en compañía de algunos ex compañeros del GSPC que han abandonado las armas.

El GSPC aglutinó a los terroristas en activo procedentes del Ejército Islámico de Salvación y del Grupo Islámico Armado, convirtiéndose en el grupo terrorista más temido por el Estado argelino.

Recientemente anunció su fusión con Al Qaeda y la formación de una rama magrebí de esta última organización llamada Al Qaeda en el Magreb Islámico, que opera en el norte de África y algunos países subsharianos.

Esto son buenas noticias, incluso después de señalar la imbecilidad de los diplomáticos USA en sus negociaciones con Argelia.

The founder of the Algerian terrorist band “Salafist Group for the Preaching and the Combar”, Hasan Habtab, has been detained by police forces according to the Arabic newspaper “Al-Hayat”. According to informed sources, the terrorist was detained by police in the quarter of Hussein in the city of Argel last 22nd, when he was celebrating the breaking of the fast of Ramadan.

He was in company of other “brothers” from the SGPC who had abandoned it.

El número dos de Al Qaida, el egipcio Ayman Al Zawahiri, ha amenazado de nuevo a españoles y franceses en el Magreb y ha recordado el empeño de este grupo terrorista por recuperar Al Ándalus para la causa islámica.
En un vídeo de ochenta minutos de duración difundido ayer en internet y en el que aparecen también otras amenazas anteriores, Al Zawahiri dice que hay que «limpiar el Magreb Islámico de los hijos de Francia y España». «La recuperación de Al Ándalus es un deber para la umma (nación islámica) en general y para ustedes en particular», demandó el terrorista egipcio a los habitantes de la región magrebí.
Ayer mismo un portavoz de la Dirección Nacional de la Seguridad de Argelia dijo a la agencia Efe que estas últimas advertencias deben ser «tomadas en serio» y añadió que tras los últimos atentados había un despliegue superior de seguridad en torno a las embajadas. Pero «decir que esta amenazas son creíbles es también restar credibilidad a anteriores amenazas», señaló ayer una fuente española de la lucha antiterrorista.

Mientras la policía da un golpe a la financiación de las redes islamistas en España, Zapatero dice que “el mensaje amenazante de Al-Qaeda no es algo nuevo“. Eso ya lo sabemos, sr. Zapatero, de hecho la primera manifestación de Bin Laden al respecto fue de 1998. Fueron los partidarios de la oposición a Aznar los que pregonaron que las amenazas islamistas eran “por la guerra de Iraq” . Por eso, sacó las tropas españolas de allí, en una acción que desde luego no cubrió de gloria a España.

Pero a pesar de eso, nos llegan estos mensajes, que según analistas marroquíes, sirven para constatar que España sigue siendo blanco del terrorismo de Al-Qaeda. Porque siempre hay un pretexto (ahora es Afganistán) para que quieran atacarnos hasta que consigan el objetivo final, que es el Califato. Eso sí, todavía hay idiotas que quieren negociar con Al-Qaeda…

Pero, sin duda, lo mejor al respecto es una entrevista en Le Figaro.fr a un ciudadano francés anónimo:

Hasta ahora los amenazados principalmente eran los americanos. ¿Cómo explicar que Al-Qaida ataca ahora a los franceses y a los españoles en el Magreb?
No sé que haya una razón profunda. Lo que puedo decir es que tanto los españoles como los franceses son muy numerosos en la region, especialmente en Marruecos y en Túnez, un poco menos en Algeria. Y es cierto que algunos turistas vienen a practicar ese turismo poco recomendable como es el turismo sexual. Hay también comportamientos ostentatorios que molestan a la población local. Y las personas con las que he hablado de Marruecos me han dicho cosas parecidas. Para los religiosos integristas, algunas prácticas ejercitadas por los europeos son percibidas como una verdadera « provocación » contra el territorio musulmán. Pienso (¿de verdad?) que los islamistas juegan la carta del resentimiento en ciertas categorías de la población. Al-Qaeda isntrumentaliza esta dimensión.

Sin considerar ya la pulla “antes sólo los americanos, y por tanto, nos importaba un rábano“, este “francés anónimo” es un claro ejemplo de europeo un poco tonnnnnnnnnnnto . La culpa de que Al-Qaeda amenaza y mate, no la tiene la política del gobierno, ni que salga el sol ni la barba teñida de Bin Laden ni otras razones peregrinas. La verdadera razón es la ideología de Al-Qaeda (y de, al menos, una parte importante del islam) de querer recuperar (insisto en mi perplejidad por usar el verbo “recuperar” para algo que no ha existido previamente, perplejidad que crece por momentos) el Califato Global.

Pero eso no es todo. Le Monde.fr trae la noticia de que Al-Qaeda para el Maghreb Islámico (ex-Grupo para la Predicación y el Combate) quería secuestrar a dos ciudadanos franceses en Argelia. Los ciudadanos, ya repatriados en Francia, trabajaban en el aeropuerto Houari-Boumediène de Argel. Uno de ellos terminaba su trabajo allí el 26 de septiembre y su colega unas semanas más tarde.

España y Francia no han sido sin embargo los únicos amenazados: también lo han sido Paquistán (guerra santa contra Musharraf) y Darfur (por si ya no habían suficientes problemas).

Drima, bloguero sudanés de Sudanese Thinker, cuando se enteró de la amenaza de Bin Laden, escribió en su blog: “Por qué este oloriento asesino llamado Bin Laden no está muerto ya? Por favor que alguien le plante una bomba en la cabeza. Y para que quede más bonito, añadánle una guinda“.

Till now, the menaces were adressed mainly to the Americans. How can we explain that Al-Qaida targets now the Franch and Spanish in the Maghreb?

I don’t know if there is a profound reason for this. All that we can say is that both French and Spanish people are very numerous in the region, specially in Morocco and Tunis, somewhat less in Algeria. It is true that some tourists come here for that not very recommendable sexual tourism. There are other behaviours which can be considered as ostentatious by the local population. And the people I have spoken with from Morocco have told me of a similar situation. For the fundamentalists, some practices made by the Europeans are perceived as a true provocation against Muslim lands. I think that the Islamists play that card with some categories of the population. Al Qaida is using that dimension.

See?? It’s not the Islamist the ones who are the culprits. It’s the Europeans who go there provoking the fundamentalists….

Just for not crying because of the idiocy of this people. Bahhh!!!

But not only Spain and France are targeted (or their citizens in the Maghreb). Pakistan and Sudan’s region also are.

Whatever the case, I really believe that the best for Bin Laden would be to capture him and to change his sex. And once transformed set him loose in Saudi Arabia… Really believe it would be a fair punishment.

In Algeria, a suicide bomber has driven a booby-trapped car into a convoy in the east of the country, wounding nine people including two French engineers and an Italian. The attack comes less than one day after Al-Qaeda’s number two man Ayman al-Zawahiri announced in a video message that Spanish and French nationals would be targeted and “cleansed” from north Africa. The French foreign office has said it is taking the new threats against its citizens seriously.

Several terrorist attacks in the Maghreb

Several weeks ago I was writing about the Al-Qaeda new franchise in North Africa -in that case about the consequences for Spain-. And we had had the horrible proof these last days.



Moroccan police kills a terrorist and another one suicides himself in a persecution. After that, a female suicide terrorist has exploded the charge that she had tied to her body. Two policeman and a boy had been hurt in the explosion, according to police sources.



According to CNN:

Three suspected members of a terrorist group blew up themselves, and police shot a fourth after a chase in Casablanca's al Fida neighborhood, security services said, according to Morocco's state-run news agency, Maghreb Arabe Presse.

As police closed in on the suspects, one of them threatened police officers with a sword, pushing the officers to open fire, eventually killing him, said Casablanca governor Mokhtar Bekkali Kassimi.

The others blew themselves up -- one apparently by accident during the escape, another while breaking through a police checkpoint, and the last, as police were pursuing him early Tuesday in al Fida, Kassimi said. The checkpoint explosion killed a policeman and wounded another, the governor added.

Security services had tracked the suspects thanks to an ongoing investigation stemming from the March 11 suicide bombing at an Internet cafe in the Sidi Moumen neighborhood, Kassimi said. (Watch how terrorism is on the rise in northern Africa )

In that incident, the shop owner had noticed two people logging on to a Web site that advocated terrorism, and they were "behaving in a violent manner," MAP reported. When the shop owner threatened to call police, one of the suspects blew himself up. The other escaped, the agency said.

More than 30 suspects have been arrested so far, among them the man who escaped the bombed Internet cafe on March 11, MAP reported. All have appeared before a magistrate on terrorism-related charges.

Remember the explosion in a cyber café when its owner forbid two people to read Islamist websites. The Counter-terrorism blog underlines that "the most credible explanation for what happened last night -for the day of those explosions, not the last ones- is that the two terrorists wanted to consult Internet to receive their orders for an attack against another target.



The Moroccan Security forces are in red alert after the suicide terrorist attacks.





And then they want to go nuclear. And Socialist Candidate to the Canary Islands' Autonomous Government has asked for respect for this measure, because "that is a part of the strategic alternatives of a neighbour country that merits as respect as any other" (h/t Bonobus). Looks like they want another Iran but now just here, just around the corner...



And today nearly 25 people had been killed and more than 220 hurt in Algeria after two explosions, one aimed against the Primer Minister and another one against a police station. [Don't worry, WaPo calls them "insurgents"].

Translation: The attack on Tuesday blamed on Islamists, happened 5 months before the legislative elections, when the Justice and Development Party (PJD, "moderate" Islamist, denounced by the Jihadist groups) is the favourite. According the Moroccan Police, what happened on Tuesday, happened in the morning, as the police surrounded the home where the 4 suspects were to prepare new attacks, in the popular district of Hay Farah.

The attacks were a devastating setback for the North African nation's efforts to close the chapter on its Islamic insurgency that has killed 200,000 people. After years of relative calm, the al-Qaida affiliate recently has recently waged several smaller attacks in the oil- and gas-rich nation.

According to Arab broadcaster Al-Jazeera, a spokesman for al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying they were carried out by three suicide bombers in trucks packed with explosives. The spokesman said the bombers targeted three sites: the government headquarters in Algiers and the Interpol offices and a special police forces building in the suburb of Bab Ezzouar.

The Al Qaeda Organisation in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for the bombings in an Internet statement, which also included a claim of responsibility for attacks in neighboring Morocco and pictures of three "martyrs".

Why these measures???

A relatively new terrorist structure, named the “Organization for Liberation of Andalusia” (OLA) is said to be ready to strike against Spanish interests in the Maghreb.

1 year ago, the OLA issued a statement on the web in Algeria, inviting Al Qaeda elements:

To carry out the “jihad” in Andalusia against the “apostate State” “to liberate Sebta and Melilla” [two Spanish enclaves near Morocco]

This call is intended “to declare a long war with Spain by creating a powerful front” and not “to carry out a few operations”

Not very amazing, but has anyone heard about this??? Has La Primera mentioned this??



Spanish State Secretary for Security, Mr. Camacho, has stated that "we should pay attention to the suicide attacks in Casablanca", but has denied that the Government had activated any special measures.



Algerian writer Mohammed Sifaoui, author of "Combatting the Islamist terrorism", considers that Al-Qaeda wants to unite [federate] some violent salafist movements in North Africa, as a way to strike both there and in Europe.



But this is the very best of all:

When all the Moroccan authorities have rushed to present the attack last Tuesday as "Purely Moroccan product", the Moroccan politologue Mohammed Darif considers that the kamikazes are "jihadist salafists", indoctrinated to serve as martyrs. "I am not saying they are from Al-Qaeda, but everything has shown us that there is an organised base in Morocco but whose thinking brains have foreign links", he analyses. In his eyes, this is a move from the Moroccan Monarchy who seeks to integres the moderate Islamists to win over the Jihadists.

He also says "In the current debate on the War on Terror, and while voices in the US Congress -as well as in the European Parliament- have called for banning the term “Global War on Terror,” the attacks in Algeria today demonstrate (with blood and statements) that many in the West haven’t yet understood the Global aim of the Jihadists. In my book, I argue that the War of Ideas has to be won at home first, so that the Global Conflict with the Jihadist can be won as well".

Christian Science Monitor:

Political parties based on religion are banned in Morocco, but parties with "an Islamic reference" are permitted to run in elections as long as they follow the monarchy's rules. That means acknowledging the authority of the king and submitting to election laws that make it impossible for any one group to dominate the parliament. Some groups are participating in elections and gaining limited political power, while others reject the system entirely but maintain grass-roots support.

"In the Islamic world, the Islamist movements are close to the people because the governments aren't there. The people go with the Islamists. In every small place, every alley, there is [The] Justice and Charity Organization," in Morocco, which rejects political participation, says Mohammed Darif, a political science professor at the Hassan II University in Mohammedia, Morocco. "Any Islamist group that supports the government will lose their popular support."

Another group, The Justice and Development Party, is taking a different route. It is the third-largest political party in the Moroccan parliament and the leading group with an "Islamic reference." It is expected to garner even more seats in parliamentary elections planned for September.

Increasing evidence gathered by Western intelligence agencies seems to also suggest that Al-Qaida's forces in Algeria are playing in role in fomenting Islamist violence in neighboring Morocco. If accurate, this would be the first official indication that the GSPC is actively seeking targets outside the borders of Algeria.

will be Islamist), journalists Nicolas Beau and Catherine Graciet paint
a very bleak albeit realistic picture of the Kingdom. Indeed, one of
the top French anti-terrorism officials, cited by Beau and Graciet,
recently stated that Morocco is by far the most worrying country in
North Africa. The official's comparison: "today, Morocco is 1916
Russia." Also, according to Spanish anti-terror judge Baltazar Garzon:
"Morocco is the worst terrorist threat for Europe." He estimated that
the al Qaeda-linked cells number more than 100 and that at least 1,000
terrorists are now being actively sought by Moroccan authorities.

In fact, Western intelligence agencies fear specific attacks on Western
interests in the country. Some are even warning of a "terrorist
tsunami."
According to an article in the Algerian daily L'Expression, partially translated by The Croissant,
the CIA recently beefed up its presence in Morocco and Algeria. Also,
right before this latest incident, Moroccan authorities had closed in
on an armed group that was preparing its own attack. The group was
composed of 21 Algerians, eight of whom were subsequently arrested--the
others are still on the run.

La prueba de que Al-Qaeda ha comenzado a operar a través de su franquicia del Norte de África la hemos tenido estos últimos días en Marruecos y en Argelia.

En Marruecos, la policía ha abortado un atentado suicida en el que han participado 4 terroristas (1 muerto por la policía y otros, una mujer y un hombre, se han suicidado, el 4º está huido). Los del No a la Guerra, ¿a qué están esperando para ir en contra de la guerra de Afganistán? Ah que no, que ellos siguen con Iraq y el PP tiene la culpa...

Morocco-Saharan-Spain update

And we go on with the pacifist hypocrites (I am going to add a label for hypocrites):

According to the President of the State Cooperation of the Associations of Solidarity with Sahara (CEAS-SAHARA), José Taboada, the Spanish Government, with its "infamous" support of the Moroccan Autonomy plan, "far from finding a just, pacific and enduring peace, is contributing to the return of war, completely justified". On the contrary, he asks in an interview, "What is the real cause of selling to the Moroccan kingdom more than 1.200 tanks, and other war weapons, worthy of 200 millions €?. Is giving weapons to a regime which has an open war with the illegal occupied lands, even if there is a truce, and which uses its tanks to break on the minority for, at least, not let them speak, as the Zapatero's Government wants to achieve peace?".

Peace, how many crimes are comitted in thy name!!! This is the Government of the absurd "peace processes".

"So, as the Saharauis of the occupied lands resist to the Moroccan pressure", says Taboada, " those who are in exile are facing the desert hostitlity, where at least there lives are not at risk". There are two Saharas, one occupied and another one, which is free, and now Spain is capitulating to Moroccan blackmail, he laments. This position of the Spanish Government, he continues, "is not ethic, it's not clever. It's dangerous as it maintains an status quo that makes the poverty grow when it could just use it's power to push Sahara into economic development". So many years of suffering, he goes on, to blush with the Spanish support ti a plan which does not even consider independence, conditio sine qua non for the conflict's solution, that was considered by James Baker plan, which was accepted in the beginning by all the sides.

But Taboada goes on asking himself: "Why Saharauis cannot have,as any citizen, of the minute of freedom that gives you the election? Does Spain has a debt so important with Morocco?". According to the coordinator, the answer is yes, and "the price is going to be paid by the saharauis, a change coin, with which Spain is protecting the agreements with Morocco regarding the fish market, the immigration and terrorism, or to prevent any question about Ceuta and Melilla".

He adds that the Kingdom of Mohammed VIth is also menacing other countries of UE and USA.

He considers the "possibility of Morocco being converted into a Republic under Islamic rule if the Western Sahara is lost". He denounces, in view of this dangerous considerations, that the Socialist Government prefers to "ally itself with the plans of the Moroccan Kingdom, that are no others than legitimate before the UN its illegal occupation".

So, let me sum up the facts. Morocco invades ILLEGALLY Spanish Sahara, in the precise moment in which Franco is dying and Spain is not worried but by its own existence.

Since then, Socialists and Communists have been supporting Saharauis. And pointing the blame on center-right people as the ones who "abandoned the Saharauis", and asking for "freedom for saharauis".

Aznar wins the elections and, not liking very much the Moroccan King, fights in the UN to maintain the Baker plan which recognises the right of the Saharauis to have a referendum to decide about their future and near the end of his 2nd term, makes a preference agreement with Algeria to import natural gas from there.

In a private conversation, Piqué, then Spanish FM, is menaced by the Moroccan King, telling him that "though Spain has not been the target of Islamist attacks, that does not mean that an Islamist attack couldn't take place in Spanish soil". Moratinos, later as FM, says, speaking about that menace, that "we have to maintain good relations with Morocco". (¡!)

Zapatero goes to Morocco where he is photographed with a map in which Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands are depicted as a part of the Moroccan kingdom.

Zapatero wins the election after the street, MSM and citizen pressure regarding the Iraqi war. And of course, after March 11th bombings, which causes I do not know, but of the people detained -I am not particularly inclined to any supposition: I think all of them are wrong and right. I do not think truth will be ever known ...- most of them are Moroccans, who cannot pass as very Jihadi types. Zapatero says, in relation with the Spanish foreign policy, that "he wants to go back to the heart of Europe".

Zapatero goes in his first trip to Morocco (which as you know is NOT Europe).

Three years later, after having a lot of crisis with Moroccan kingdom [Immigrants, the case of the oranges that some of the Moroccan producers say were invented by them and asked for a compensation -Lo leí en El Mundo, periódico de papel, si alguien tiene un link, me lo deja en comentarios-, the drug dealing...], he recognises the Moroccan autonomy plan, sells tanks and other weapons to Morocco for a total valor of 200 millions of € and agrees to build a train with Morocco under the sea.

Algeria raises the gas prices 20% as a result.

I keep on asking the same question: what has seen our president in this man?

Aznar reveals that Chirac told him to give Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands to Morocco. Chirac denies it (of course, the contrary is a little bit shameful: pressing on the President of an INDEPENDENT State to modify his territory).

So the question is: is Morocco related to the March 11th bombings or they are just playing the card of the Islamoterrorists knowing that so pacifist a Government, the same one who proposed the Civilizations' Alliance relies precisely in being the opposite to Aznar's Government? Could Moroccan King ally himself with the Islamists not to leave power, if the moment comes?

France-Spain-Morocco-Algeria update

Some days ago I wrote about Argelia raises the gas as Zapatero supports Morocco about Western Sahara. Those news were already very worrying: to leave Saharuis alone when they most need Spanish support, in their need to be free and decide freely upon their future, is #€€|[]{}_@ (I really do not have sufficient strong words for that). But today I discovered a new bad news -as if those weren't already bad-:

From The Australian [it's curious: these news appear in Australia and are under-reported here]:

MOROCCO and Spain vowed overnight to work together to bore a tunnel under the Strait of Gibraltar to link Africa and Europe. Moroccan experts say the long-mooted 39km rail tunnel would be among the world's most sophisticated engineering works and rival the Channel Tunnel linking England and France.

"We will deploy the necessary effort to achieve this project or at least put it on the right track," Moroccan Prime Minister Driss Jettou said.

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, who completed a two-day official visit to Rabat overnight, shared Mr Jettou's optimism and called the plan an "historic project".

Mr Zapatero pledged to drum up European Union support for a project he said "would change Africa and Europe".

"The fixed link would bind the African continent to Europe.

Support for the project reflected how warm ties between Rabat and Madrid have become under Mr Zapatero's Socialist government. Four cooperation accords were also signed, including one on cracking down on illegal migration of children.

So, if Spain did not have problems with (i) illegal immigration and (ii) drugs illegal imports (mainly hachisch) from Morocco, now they are building a train line!!!!

Anyway, just after the raise of natural gas prices Argelia is going to apply Spain -please read the above link-, I found at Instict de Survie (link on French) that Sarkozy has priviledged a partnership between GDF (Gaz de France, the most important natural gas firm from France) and the Algerian natural gas producer Sonatrach in a merger with Suez, to "reinsure the French supply of gas", according to the ex-minister for Industry, Patrick Devedjian.

Someone asked the other day what was our main targets in foreign policy: just destroy everything that has been created before March 14th, 2004. A very thing to do on the 3rd anniversary of Zapatero's coming to power.
