) me entero de esta nueva iniciativa a favor de la libertad en internet:
Reporters sans frontières - Internacional
Una iniciativa interesante: si me da tiempo mañana por supuesto que voy a participar en la defensa de la libertad de expresión en Internet. Es algo que a todos nos afecta y que si los rumores son ciertos, puede afectarnos en España más que lo podemos imaginarnos ahora.
El único inconveniente es que, para sumarse, hay que llamar a un teléfono. NO entiendo por qué no ponen un formulario para adherirse en la propia página web...

Reporters without frontiers is going to inaugurate the day of the "Freedom of Expression in the internet" next March 12th. The organization is then renewing its operation "24 hours against censorship" and calls the websurfers to a monilization in the site www.rsf.org.
There are 50 cyberdissidents imprisoned for using their right to freedom of expression in the Web. China is the greatest prison for digital journalists and bloggers.
To denounced the censorship made by the Governments, and to reclaim more freedom on the Internet, Reporters without Borders makes a call to demonstrate in nine of the countries which are enemies of the net. During 24 hours, from Wednesday March 12th, at 11:00, to Thursday March 13th, at 11:00 (Paris hour), websurfers can create an avatar and take part in one of the cyber-demonstrations which will take place in Burma, China, North Korea, Cuba, Egypt, Eritrea, Tunisia, Turkmenistan and Vietnam.
What I can't understand is why you should call to a phone number to take part in this cyberdisidents' demonstration. Why they haven't inserted a form in the webpage to adhere to them?

Miércoles 12 de marzo de 2008 : Reporteros sin Fronteras pone en marcha el primer Día Internacional por la Libertad de Expresión en Internet
Reporteros sin Fronteras pone en marcha el primer Día por la Libertad de Expresión en Internet, el próximo 12 de marzo. Con ese motivo, la organización renueva su operación “24 horas contra la censura” y llama a los internautas a movilizarse en el sitio www.rsf.org.
Actualmente hay 63 ciberdisidentes entre rejas por haber usado su derecho a la libertad de expresión en la Web. China sigue siendo la mayor cárcel para periodistas digitales y bloggers.
Para denunciar la censura ejercida por los gobiernos, y reclamar más libertad en Internet, Reporteros sin Fronteras hace un llamamiento a manifestarse en nueve de los países enemigos del Net. Durante 24 horas, desde el miércoles 12 de marzo, a las 11 horas, hasta el jueves 13 de marzo, a las 11 horas (hora de París), los internautas podrán crear un avatar, elegir el mensaje de su banner y tomar parte en una de las cibermanifestaciones que tendrán lugar en Birmania, China, Corea del Norte, Cuba, Egipto, Eritrea, Túnez, Turkmenistán y Vietnam.
